Web poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the croupier saying "No further bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the other players acquire five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you must either make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original bet, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your bet goes immediately to the dealer. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, plus a sum on par with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The casino pays out cash even with your bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
